Hoya Crassipetiolata 'Little Splash'

Slow-growing. Was severely rootbound and has been repotted as of March 2026. Growth paused while adjusting to new container.

Care

Grows best in bright indirect light; tolerates medium indirect but growth slows further. Use a chunky, fast-draining substrate — orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir is a good combination. Allow the medium to dry out fully between waterings; this species is more drought-tolerant than many hoyas and prone to root rot if kept wet. Do not repot too frequently — hoyas often bloom better when slightly rootbound. Fertilize with a balanced liquid fertilizer during active growth; reduce in winter. The silvery leaf splash is most pronounced in bright indirect light.
