False Spirea

A compact selection of the species, grown for its finely divided pinnate foliage and strong spring color — new growth emerges in shades of red-orange before transitioning to green. Produces feathery white plumes in summer. Spreads by suckers but ‘Sem’ is less aggressive than the straight species. Well-suited to moist, partly shaded spots in the garden.
